It is interesting how influential Hebrew has been in world languages and cultures. Rarely is Hebrew and G_D's Word given the credit they deserve. Here is an interesting example.

In modern French, "tohu-bohu" is used as an idiom for "confusion" or "commotion". Also in colloquial German, "Tohuwabohu" means "great confusion"; "tohuvabohu" has the same meaning in Estonian and Hungarian. Wiki
