The Reformation Festival was refreshing this year as the people were more open to our witness as ever before. It could be that they are beginningReformation Festival to expect our presence and message at the festival. We passed out many tracts, Bibles and lots of balloons. Our balloons were a big hit. They were lit with a small LED light with the Text “The Light of The World” and our website address on them. On our website, we wrote a gospel tract to coincide with the balloons. We praise the Lord for the many people who went to our site and read about The Light of The World, Jesus!

We have had such a wonderful time of growing in the Lord during our study of Galatians, Ephesians and Philippians. Being ambassadors for Heaven is such an incredibly powerful calling. We are responsible to live the reality of the Gospel every moment of our lives. With every step we make, we illustrate that it is possible to be in two places at one time; connected to God in the Heavenlies and on Earth in the flesh. By allowing the rule of heaven, rather that the rule of the flesh to control us, we illustrate the crucifixion.

It is all about Jesus, not me!We, as followers of Christ, should be living as sacrifices. Christ calls this bearing the cross. It was selfishness that separated us from God. The way back is selflessness of the cross. With every step we trample the intent (head) of the serpent. He wanted to separate God from his creation but by living for Christ, we represent the path back to our creator.

At the end of the service one Sunday, Skyler came forward and asked to talk to the people. With surprise, I consented and he announced that God wanted him to start an English service. We now have an evening English service. Skyler translates my sermon and preaches it the following Sunday Evening. It is so rewarding to see him grow.

We celebrated New Year’s Eve with fellow church-planters, Sherri and Jürgen Notz, in southern Germany. It was a joy to preach their Watch-night service and visit the church where we worked during our first 2 years in Germany.

Christmas ConcertI am in need a small medical procedure that will be a three-day hospital stay. Please pray for the procedure and for the needed finances as we have to cover 20% of the cost. It will take place at the end of Feb, if scheduling works out.

Our car has needed various repairs during the last few months. The flex section of the exhaust had been welded several times had to be replaced and the water pump went out. God willing our rusting muffler will hold out until spring. It is a very expensive part that is only available through the dealership. The part alone is over $300.

We are reminded on a daily basis what a privilege it is to be serving God and we thank God for your part in supporting our ministry.
