The line, “it is ok to look, so long as you don’t touch”, is a noose disguised as a loophole.   It was typically used by men, but “now-a-days” women have jumped on the band wagon as well.  The final destination is far from a God honoring moral marriage.  It often ends in a destructive and unstable performance-based relationship.

If such a relationship makes it to the altar, it will always struggle with the shadows of the past.  In the best of results, there is a wake of destroyed lives.  Marriage is a holy contractual agreement based on God’s leadership in a man's and a woman’s life making them one.  Anything outside of this is antithetical to God’s will, being destructive.
