The concept of crucifying the flesh appears lost on the modern "Christian" and that is the demise of "Christianity".

Thankfully, there are those among us, disciples of the crucified risen Savior, living the crucified life to His honor and glory.They are true witnesses of Christ. Jesus suffered, served, believed, and gave for the joy that saving man produces.

If we are his disciples, then his life must be the pattern we live.  We should take great Joy in being His representatives in this world no matter the cost.
