God created man free:

“And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.” Gen 1:29

Satan laid the trap:

“And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:  For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”  Gen 3:4-5

Man lost his freedom seeking things outside of the protection of his freedom.  He was caught, enslaved and will be ultimately destroyed except for the sacrifice God made for him.

This tomato grew on both sides of the fence as many “Christians” try to play the part on Sunday,  but live like the world during the week, blaming God for all that goes wrong.

When I pick this tomato, there is no hope. It is stuck.  I have no magical way of sparing it at this point.  It is doomed, as many will be on “that day”.

Many will say, “Lord, Lord, open to us.”  But he will answer, “Truly I say to you, I know you not.”  Matthew 25:11-12.

Christ cut the chains of our slavery to sin with His death, burial and resurrection.  Until one repents and believes in Christ’s salvation power, he is not of his “know”.  The time is now.  Don’t wait until it is too late.  I can’t think of a more traumatic line to hear out of the Lord’s mouth as, “depart from me, I never knew you.”Matthew 7:23

Remember “Christian”/Christian, getting caught comes with a price in the present and in eternity. Sin is a trap of Satan, whose goal is to steal, kill and destroy.  God gives freedom, which Satan loves to steal, killing the flesh and destroying the soul for all eternity.  You choose, “this day who you will serve.”

“Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” Romans 6:16

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; … but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Jos 24:15

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:” De 30:19
